I was super happy with the silverglo rigid foam insulation that was applied to my foundation walls. I give that a 5. I am strongly disappointed with the spray foam that was used and am still experiencing problems today. I regret deciding to have the foam sprayed in my rim joists and wish I could go back in time to decide not to do it all.
Colleen (spelling?) was always very pleasant to interact with on the phone.
Todd was on time, went over the process, and has followed up thoroughly. I wish I would've fought harder against him with the spray foam because I didn't really want it in the first place.
I wasn't aware that the foam was going to be sprayed over the fiberglass in the joists. I would've voted against that. Otherwise, Rex seems to want to do a good job and has been thorough.
There are still places where the spray foam has not set (it's been 10 days since installation) and I've been left with a tacky residue and some kind of liquid that has saturated the remaining fiberglass and continues to drip on my floor. In the end, I want it all torn out, wiped down, and cleaned. I do not want it replaced with new spray foam. I'd rather leave it uninsulated because I feel that's the only way I won't obsess over it.
Out of all the places I contacted, you were the only one that called me back. I figured if those other companies couldn't even return a phone call or email, they probably weren't going to be very easy to work with.
